Role Summary
We're looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creator specialized in short-form video, reels, and live social media event coverage. Unlike a general social media manager, this role is production- and content-focused: you'll conceptualize, capture, edit, and publish engaging visual content that captures moments and drives engagement across our clients' platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Shorts) tailored to each brand and platform.
- Provide real-time social media coverage of events, activations, and launches, including on-site filming, live posting, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and shot lists aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, audio, formats, and features to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, and copywriters to ensure content supports the wider campaign vision.
- Optimize content for reach and engagement, and support performance reviews with basic analytics.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets across multiple client accounts.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience creating social media video content, ideally in an agency environment.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating reels, short-form video, and event coverage.
- Solid videography skills (camera or smartphone) with a strong sense of framing, lighting, and pacing.
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube algorithms and trends.
- Ability to work fast under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
