Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Smoke Control Engineer at Aman International Engineering Consultancy in Riyadh. The Senior Smoke Control Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as smoke control systems for buildings, including mechanical ventilation, pressurization systems, and natural smoke venting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development:
- Lead the design and engineering of smoke control systems for buildings, including mechanical ventilation, pressurization systems, and natural smoke venting.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to model smoke movement and ventilation efficiency during fire scenarios.
- Ensure all designs are in compliance with local SBC and international fire safety codes, such as NFPA 92, EN 12101, and other applicable standards.
- Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end process of smoke control system design and implementation, including client coordination, planning, and execution.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of smoke control systems on-site, ensuring system functionality and safety compliance.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert advice on smoke management strategies, fire safety regulations, and building design optimization.
- Conduct risk assessments and fire modeling for smoke propagation in complex building geometries.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff in the design and implementation of smoke control projects.
- Provide training to junior engineers on technical concepts, safety standards, and design methodologies related to smoke control.
- Foster a collaborative working environment and ensure continuous professional development within the team.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
