Cybersecurity Presales Engineer
We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to support a growing enterprise cybersecurity business across Cloud Security, Infrastructure & Network Security, Data Security, Identity Security, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) domains.
The position requires a broad understanding of modern cybersecurity technologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business value for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Consulting & Customer Engagement
- Engage with customers to understand business, technical, security, and compliance requirements using a consultative approach.
- Translate customer challenges into tailored cybersecurity solutions across cloud, network, data, identity, and GRC domains.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, aligning solutions with customer risk posture and regulatory requirements.
Technical Presales Support
- Support sales teams in opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and technical strategy.
- Deliver presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Develop solution architectures, BoQs, and high-quality technical proposals and RFP responses.
Solution Design & Architecture
Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions across:
- Cloud Security (CNAPP, CSPM, SSPM)
- Security Operations (SIEM, SOC)
- Infrastructure & Network Security (SASE, NDR, Firewalls, SD-WAN)
- Data Security (DLP, encryption, governance)
- Identity Security (IAM, PAM, SSO, IGA)
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and customer environments.
Proof of Concept & Technical Validation
- Plan and execute PoCs, pilots, and technical evaluations.
- Address technical objections and support competitive positioning.
Experience & Education
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of key cybersecurity domains:
- Cloud Security (CNAPP, CSPM, SSPM)
- Security Operations (SIEM, SOC)
- Network Security (Firewalls, SASE, SD-WAN, NDR)
- Data Security (DLP, encryption, governance)
- Identity Security (IAM, PAM, SSO, IGA)
- GRC frameworks and compliance standards
- Basic understanding of enterprise IT environments, including hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Consultative & Business Skills
- Strong consultative mindset with ability to align technical solutions to business and risk objectives.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Understanding of security maturity models and regulatory drivers.
