JOB PURPOSE
To generate and produce coordinated and detailed Mechanical and Electrical models using the Autodesk BIM and AutoCAD suite.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Build Revit families as required of plant/equipment that Revit families are unavailable for
2.2 Ability to understand engineering drawings and layouts that have been produced from
calculation software and the ability to input this into a Revit model.
2.3 Model supports/hangers for MEP services.
2.4 Producing detailed construction drawings from Revit Models / AutoCAD files.
2.5 Must be able to deliver highly detailed 2D & 3D drawings for site team.
2.6 Manage federated models and undertake clash detection and produce reports for same
2.7 Attend client BIM meetings if required to represent K&M as a specialised BIM professional.
2.8 Carry out all work in a professional manner.
2.9 Complete as built models & production of asset information model
2.10 Generate a model from AutoCAD drawings or a senior M&E engineers’ markups / calcs and continue to coordinate the design and update the model until the project is handed over.
2.11 Provide assistance to site team if any issues arise with models/drawings.
2.12 Attend internal model coordination reviews.
2.13 Using the latest Revit template for all projects.
2.14 Co-ordinate Mechanical and Electrical services layouts with other disciplines such as sprinkler/refrigeration/structural contractors.
2.15 Create and maintain K&M document management system as appropriate to role.
2.16 Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
3rd Level qualification in BIM or equivalent is desirable.
2 + years Revit experience in MEP industry
Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and have experience working in common data environments.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to use own initiative.

Pay: AED13,000.00 – AED18,000.00 per month
