Job Summary
We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter with strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery works. The candidate will be responsible for accurate cutting, assembly, installation, and finishing of carpentry works according to drawings, measurements, and project requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry and joinery works for interior fit-out projects.
- Read and understand shop drawings, layouts, and measurements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and related materials.
- Install doors, frames, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, partitions, wall panels, skirting, and other carpentry items.
- Perform first-fix and second-fix carpentry works.
- Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, dimensions, and finishing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
- Perform on-site modifications, adjustments, repairs, and rectification works.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site.
- Check materials and measurements before starting work.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and minimize material wastage.
- Follow project schedules and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Follow all company and site health and safety requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a skilled carpenter.
- Strong experience in interior fit-out, carpentry, and joinery works.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and measurements.
- Excellent skills in cutting, assembling, and installing carpentry works.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Good knowledge of different wood, board, laminate, and finishing materials.
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work on construction and fit-out sites.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
THE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3 TO 4 YEARS OF UAE EXPERIENCE.
