Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer with a strong background in high-rise residential building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the site team and ensuring the successful execution of LV (Low Voltage) and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) installations. A deep understanding of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) and DCD (Dubai Civil Defence) regulations is essential. The Electrical Site Engineer will independently manage on-site activities and report to the Project Manager and Project Engineer in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the site team for electrical works, ensuring effective coordination and smooth workflow.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of LV and ELV systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Ensure compliance with DEWA and DCD regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply knowledge of DEWA and DCD regulations to ensure all electrical installations meet the required standards.
Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed on-site.
Work closely with other disciplines on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical works with the overall project.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and Project Engineer on the progress of the electrical works.
Identify and escalate any issues or risks that may impact project timelines or quality.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of electrical installations.
Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to avoid project delays.
Resolve any technical or site-related challenges that arise during the execution of electrical works.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation for high-rise residential buildings.
In-depth knowledge of LV and ELV systems.
Strong understanding of DEWA and DCD regulations.
Ability to lead and manage a site team independently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans.
