Job Description:
As a Finishing Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing precise woodwork, ensuring high-quality finishing, and installing custom fixtures. You will work on retail, commercial, and residential projects, bringing designs to life with expert craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials with precision
Install cabinets, doors, moldings, and other finishing elements
Sand, stain, and polish wood surfaces for a high-quality finish
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Repair and refurbish existing woodwork when required
Work with a variety of tools, including saws, chisels, and drills
Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment
Follow safety regulations and company guidelines
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience as a Finishing Carpenter
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Skilled in using hand and power tools efficiently
Strong attention to detail and precision
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
