Tasks
- Supervise and control day-to-day site activities across civil and building works, ensuring alignment with drawings and project requirements
- Lead and coordinate foremen, chargehands, and workforce teams to achieve planned progress and productivity targets
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor workmanship, quality, and output, ensuring required standards are consistently achieved
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site management to maintain smooth workflow across all activities
- Oversee proper utilisation of labour, materials, machinery, and equipment on site
- Support implementation of construction sequencing and daily work planning
- Identify and address site issues, delays, and coordination gaps in real time
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices across all work fronts
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both site teams and management
- Report on daily progress, productivity, and site conditions to the project team
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years of experience in building construction within a main contracting environment
- Proven experience supervising site execution teams on building projects
- Working knowledge of construction activities, materials, and site processes
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP shop drawings
- Experience managing labour productivity, output, and quality on site
- Familiarity with construction equipment and machinery utilisation
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors
- Clear communication with both workforce and site management
- Practical understanding of Abu Dhabi HSE requirements and site safety practices
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, site-driven environments
