Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and provide accommodations and modifications as needed.
Provide individualised support and interventions for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, English language learners, and gifted students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
Act as an advocate for students with additional needs and work closely with parents and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Provide professional development and support for teachers on best practices for inclusive education.
Collaborate with external agencies to support students with special needs and their families.
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrates a passion for teaching and a deep commitment to inspiring and challenging all learners
Utilises strong subject knowledge to plan and deliver engaging, effective, and impactful lessons
Skilled in designing lessons that encourage all students to think deeply and engage purposefully in their learning
Strong ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of an inclusive student community
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Reflective and proactive in their practice, continuously seeking professional growth and development
Effective in managing time and workload, demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm in a dynamic school environment
Committed to upholding the school’s values and beliefs whilst being aligned with the motto: “Everyone counts, everyone contributes, everyone succeeds”
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelors of Education or PGCE with appropriate specialism
Experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum / international school
