We are seeking an experienced and technically driven Site Manager (HV Substations) to lead the end-to-end execution of complex high-voltage power projects. With over a decade of experience, you will direct site operations from mobilization through construction, testing, commissioning, and final client handover. You will ensure strict adherence to engineering standards, health and safety (HSE) protocols, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilitie

Site Operations & Project Managemen

  • Lead the site management and execution of HV/EHV substation projects (380kV)
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet baseline milestones
  • Administer Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts to minimize risk and optimize resource allocation
  • Monitor site performance and generate regular daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports detailing milestones, manhours, and material usage
  • Coordinate site logistics and lead daily POD (Plan of the Day) and project meetings

Technical Oversight & Quality Assuranc

  • Oversee the installation of electrical equipment including power transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, circuit breakers, control panels, and auxiliary systems
  • Review and approve work method statements, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP)
  • Enforce quality control (QA/QC) protocols, ensuring all construction activities conform strictly to Issued-for-Construction (IFC) plans and project specifications
  • Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring as-built and red-line drawings are continually updated

  • Implement and enforce strict safety policies, participating actively in all project site HSE initiatives
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and draft risk assessments to maintain an incident-free working environment
  • Review monthly safety metrics and manhours to ensure alignment with corporate and client safety goals

Qualifications & Requiremen

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineerin
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in the construction and management of high-voltage transmission substations. Proven experience in large-scale frameworks (380kV projects) is highly desirabl
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of substation systems, electrical equipment installation, protection schemes, control systems, and site execution procedure
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local utility codes, inspection frameworks, and construction processe
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in construction management programs, scheduling tools, and the Microsoft Office Suit
  • Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills; proven ability to manage client relationships, negotiate, and resolve on-site deviations.
