Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Site Inspector with experience in maintenance and technical service works including electrical fixtures, painting, civil works, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair activities. The candidate should possess strong site supervision capabilities along with good knowledge of material pricing, supplier coordination, and estimation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections for maintenance, repair, and fit-out works.
- Inspect and supervise works related to:
- Electrical fixtures and lighting
- Painting and surface finishing
- Plumbing and sanitary works
- Carpentry and gypsum works
- Interlocking and landscaping
- CCTV and low-current systems
- General civil maintenance
- Prepare site inspection reports and identify rectification requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers on site activities.
- Ensure works are completed as per safety and quality standards.
- Assist in material selection, quantity verification, and procurement planning.
- Source quotations from suppliers and compare market pricing.
- Maintain knowledge of local suppliers, material specifications, and pricing trends.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to management.
- Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and materials on site.
- Attend client meetings and explain technical findings when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical services, maintenance, or site inspection works.
- Good knowledge of electrical fixtures, painting systems, and general building maintenance.
- Familiarity with material brands, suppliers, and local market pricing.
- Ability to read basic drawings and technical scopes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and site regulations.
- UAE driving license preferred.
- Computer knowledge in MS Office and quotation follow-up is an advantage.
