Your role
Attached to the Head of the Fragrance Analysis Department of the company, you will respond to requests for analytical expertise on scented compositions, required by the Fragrance Creation process, subsidiaries, and clients, through instrumental and organoleptic investigations.
Job description
Prepare and process samples: dilutions, measurements, extraction techniques, injections by gas chromatography (GC/FID, GC/MS).
Interpret results using GC/FID and GC/MS: formulations, conclusions, and, if applicable, regulatory and pricing compliance.
Meet analysis deadlines in coordination with the Evaluation department.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the analytical equipment.
Manage and coordinate analytical works with Argeville France.
Qualification
Diploma in perfumery with 5 to 10 years of perfumery experience.
Good level of English
Analytical and technical expertise in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
Chemical expertise in sample processing
Analytical and olfactory knowledge of fragrance raw materials
Excellent olfactory knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials
Perseverance and autonomy
Team spirit and Knowledge sharing
