Site Engineer / Site Supervisor – Floor Coating & Waterproofing Jobs in Dubai at Brightway photocopier equipment
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to oversee floor coating and waterproofing projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in epoxy, polyurethane (PU), polyaspartic, and acrylic flooring systems, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise floor coating and waterproofing works at project sites.
- Inspect concrete substrates and assess moisture content, compressive strength, and surface condition before application.
- Plan and monitor surface preparation activities, including grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, and acid etching.
- Oversee crack repairs, epoxy injection, patch repairs, and substrate remediation works.
- Ensure correct application of primers, self-leveling systems, epoxy, PU, polyaspartic, quartz, flake, and high-build coating systems.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections, including dry film thickness (DFT), adhesion pull-off tests, slip resistance, and final finishing checks.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Prepare daily progress reports, material requests, and work schedules.
- Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, SSPC, and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of UAE/GCC experience in industrial floor coating and waterproofing projects.
- Strong knowledge of epoxy, PU, polyaspartic, acrylic, and cementitious flooring systems.
- Experience operating surface preparation equipment such as shot blasters, diamond grinders, scarifiers, and mixers.
- Ability to read construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
Pay: AED6,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
