Summary
Responsible for implementing projects as per contact documents in the most cost-effective manner and performing regular field surveying.
Essential Responsibilities and
Duties
Conduct site supervision of ongoing projects.
Maintain files of approved shop drawings and material samples.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
Check and implement safety, fire protection measures, environmental control, and general cleaning of project sites in compliance with hospital standards.
Inspect materials upon arrival according to approved samples and ensure safe storage.
Establish accurate grid lines and permanent benchmarks with the contractor on-site.
Inspect assigned project works as per approved shop drawings.
Submit daily reports for each project site and prepare technical reports as needed.
Coordinate between the contractor and hospital departments during project construction.
Supervise on-site and factory testing of electrical equipment and systems performed by the contractor/manufacturer and provide test reports.
Review the contractor’s measurement book and payments.
Participate in the hospital’s quality improvement plan where applicable.
Engage in self and others’ education, training, and development as applicable.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
Experience Required
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience on a construction site in a supervisory role with a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Other Requirements (Certificates)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera, and/or Microsoft Projects, and engineering calculation software.
Fluent in oral and written English.
Non-Saudi Engineers must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.
