Guildhall is recruiting for a Site Engineer – Civil to join a leading international engineering and construction contractor in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of major high-rise commercial and mixed-use developments by coordinating site engineering activities, supervising construction works, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements throughout the construction lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
– Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily site operations, implementing construction programmes, and managing manpower, equipment, and material resources to achieve project milestones.
– Review construction drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, and RFIs, coordinating with consultants and the engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure accurate project execution.
– Supervise site activities and subcontractors, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with approved specifications, project schedules, QA/QC requirements, and contractual obligations.
– Monitor site safety performance, attend consultant and authority inspections, and ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
– Prepare progress reports, resource forecasts, as-built drawings, project documentation, and close-out records while supporting the successful handover of completed works.
