Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Supervise daily site activities related to façade, ACP cladding, curtain wall, glazing, aluminium, and steel installations.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate manpower efficiently.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure timely project completion.
- Verify site measurements before fabrication and installation.
- Resolve technical issues encountered during installation.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and design teams for timely material delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and identify work fronts.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and main contractors.
- Prepare material requests, site instructions, and technical clarifications.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of façade materials on site.
Quality Control
- Inspect installed façade systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and consultant approvals.
- Ensure proper installation of:
- ACP panels
- Curtain wall systems
- Aluminium doors and windows
- Louvers
- Brackets and anchors
- Structural silicone and sealants
- Flashings and architectural metal works
- Prepare snag lists and ensure timely rectification.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor safe working practices for working at height, lifting operations, and façade installation.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare:
- Daily progress reports
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Material reconciliation reports
- Site measurement sheets
- Variation reports
- Work completion reports
- Maintain records of inspections, RFIs, NCRs, and site instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in façade, aluminium, and cladding projects (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred or required depending on project needs).
