Site Engineer Jobs in Dubai at Motif Interior Decoration DMCC
Job Purpose
To supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities for interior fit-out projects, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines, while maintaining safety and cost control on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and interpret architectural, MEP, and interior fit-out drawings, and ensure execution aligns with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Supervise day-to-day site activities including partitioning, false ceiling, joinery, flooring, painting, and MEP coordination works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure work progresses as per the project schedule.
- Monitor material delivery, storage, and usage on site; raise material requests as needed.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections at each stage of work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, discrepancies in drawings, or site constraints in coordination with the design/PM team.
- Maintain daily site progress reports, manpower records, and photographic documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and site safety protocols at all times.
- Coordinate with QS/commercial team for measurement of work done, variations, and material reconciliation.
- Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors; follow up on action points.
- Prepare and update work programs/schedules; flag any delays and propose recovery measures.
- Ensure snagging/de-snagging and handover documentation is completed prior to project closeout.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant site engineering experience in the interior fit-out industry (commercial, retail, residential, or hospitality projects).
- Sound knowledge of fit-out materials, methods, and MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of MS Project/Primavera is a plus.
- Familiarity with local municipality/authority approval processes (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, Trakhees, as applicable) is an advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
