We are a fully funded startup preparing for our upcoming launch and looking for a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and automation. Responsibilities:
Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Helm charts, and Kustomize on Kubernetes.
Kubernetes Management: Maintain and optimize multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters, including setting up multi-region deployments with KubeFed, Istio, Linkerd, or Consul.
Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including VPC setup, IAM policies, and cloud networking.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
Networking & Security: Configure and manage Ingress controllers (NGINX, Traefik, Istio, Envoy) and ensure compliance with security standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Multi-Cloud & High Availability: Architect and manage multi-cloud networking, workload portability, cross-region failovers, and geo-replication.
AI/ML Workloads: Deploy and optimize ML pipelines using Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, or TFX, and scale AI workloads with Triton, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, and distributed training frameworks like Horovod or Ray.
Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
CI/CD & GitOps: Automate deployments with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Tekton.
Edge Computing & IoT: Manage private cloud and edge AI solutions with OpenStack, Proxmox, K3s, MicroK8s, and KubeEdge.
Required Skills & Experience:
Kubernetes & Containers: Strong hands-on experience with multi-tenant Kubernetes environments and container orchestration.
Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS, GCP, and Azure, including cloud networking, interconnects, and IAM policies.
Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for automation.
Networking & Security: Experience with Ingress controllers, zero-trust security, service mesh security, and compliance implementations.
AI/ML Infrastructure: Understanding of ML model deployment, GPU/TPU provisioning, and AI workload scaling.
Performance Optimization: Expertise in caching solutions (Redis, Memcached), CDN integration, and distributed databases (CockroachDB, Vitess, Aurora Global, YugabyteDB).
CI/CD & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go, and experience in automating deployment workflows.
Observability & Incident Response: Experience with distributed tracing, SLA/SLO monitoring, and real-time analytics.
Bonus Points:
Experience in edge computing, real-time data processing, or IoT.
Hands-on experience managing bare metal, OpenStack, or hybrid cloud setups.
Background in serverless AI infrastructure and autoscaling strategies.
