Job Summary: The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception to completion while ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities on the construction site, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure projects are executed according to design specifications and project requirements
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure full understanding and compliance by the site team
Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the project
Communicate effectively with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the work being performed and ensure timely completion of tasks
Prepare daily reports and documentation related to site activities
Assist in managing the project budget by tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Implement and enforce site safety measures, ensuring all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols
Help in the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes
Experience with project management software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred
