Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to ensure the successful execution of civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on-site while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Work closely with design teams to interpret and implement engineering drawings and specifications.
Monitor construction processes to ensure quality standards are met, and address any issues that arise during construction.
Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, costs, and any deviations from the plan.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges that occur during construction.
Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in plans, specifications, and reports.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and site conditions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development or construction.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
