The Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of CCTV and other ELV systems, with a strong emphasis on Milestone Video Management Software (VMS). The role involves diagnosing technical faults, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the highest level of security and surveillance system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Milestone VMS, including system setup, camera integrations, and network configurations.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and software updates to ensure optimal performance of Milestone-based CCTV solutions.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
Ensure all NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras are functioning correctly and meet client requirements.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to CCTV, Milestone VMS, and network infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
Provide remote and onsite support to clients and end-users for troubleshooting Milestone-related issues.
Work closely with the IT and security teams to optimize system performance.
Ensure all installations comply with local security regulations and industry standards.
Maintain detailed service records, including maintenance logs, system configurations, and issue resolutions.
Prepare and submit technical reports and service documentation as required.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to schedule maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Communication Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in CCTV & Milestone VMS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
UAE D/L is mandatory
Expert-level knowledge of Milestone VMS (XProtect, Smart Client, Management Client).
Strong expertise in IP CCTV systems, camera configurations, and networking.
Ability to work with VMS integrations, analytics, and access control systems.
Experience in server & storage solutions for large-scale surveillance systems.
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, PoE, RTSP, ONVIF).
Milestone Certification advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED9,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
