Site Civil Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Excelconst LLC
We are looking to hire an experienced and efficient construction site Civil Engineer.
As a construction site Civil Engineer, you will monitor diversified aspects of construction project management. This will include planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities. You will ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and construction regulations. You will also foster effective communication by liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Technical Oversight
Establish level and survey control for contracts
Set out detailed works according to contract drawings
Undertake surveys and ensure accuracy of technical designs and
drawings
Provide technical advice to construction crews and subcontractors
Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other problems
Project Management
Supervise day-to-day construction activities
Manage construction operations and ensure plans are accurately
implemented
Coordinate with team members, contractors, and suppliers
Monitor and report on construction progress
Assist in cost tracking and financial reporting
Quality Control and Safety
Implement quality control processes and conduct inspections
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
Guarantee that materials and workmanship meet required standards
Identify and mitigate potential site hazards
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare site reports and log progress
Maintain accurate records of construction activities, budgets, and
materials
Produce procurement schedules and liaise with procurement department
Create ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and Task Briefings
Collaboration and Communication
Work with clients, subcontractors, local authorities, architects, and other
professionals
Liaise with electrical supply companies, water, gas, mining, and transport
authorities
Manage relationships with stakeholders and resolve conflicts
Resource Management
Plan and manage allocation of resources, materials, and equipment
Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
Assist in estimating feasibility and costs of various construction methods
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
4-5 years of experience in UAE as construction Site Civil Engineer.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and other software.
Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
Competent in assessing, interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
