Job Title: Signage Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Signage Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of various indoor and outdoor signage. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with different signage materials, tools, and installation techniques while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install various types of signage, including illuminated signs, acrylic signs, channel letters, flex face signs, vinyl graphics, and metal signage.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and installation layouts.
- Install signage at client locations using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing signage.
- Operate power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all installations comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the production and project teams to complete assignments on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Signage Technician.
- Experience in the fabrication and installation of illuminated and non-illuminated signage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Knowledge of acrylic fabrication, vinyl application, LED installation, and metal fabrication is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and installation equipment.
- Ability to work at heights and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid GCC/Qatar driving license is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electrical connections for illuminated signage.
- Basic welding and fabrication knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Pay: QAR2,000.00 – QAR4,000.00 per month
