Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile full-stack developer with a strong emphasis on frontend and e-commerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-performance online stores on both Shopify and WooCommerce, with a specific focus on seamless data flow and custom functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Development: Build and launch custom e-commerce websites from scratch using Shopify (Liquid) and WordPress/WooCommerce (PHP).
- API & Third-Party Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between e-commerce platforms and external systems (ERPs, CRMs, inventory management, and custom APIs).
- Frontend Customization: Develop responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Theme & Plugin Development: Customize existing themes and develop bespoke plugins/apps to meet specific business requirements.
- Optimization: Ensure all stores are optimized for mobile, speed, and SEO best practices.
- Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, API connection errors, and performance issues across various platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- E-commerce Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce development.
- API Proficiency: Deep understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs; experience handling JSON/XML data structures and authentication (OAuth, API keys).
- Shopify Expertise: Proficiency in Liquid, Shopify Sections, and working with the Shopify Admin/Storefront API.
- WordPress/WooCommerce: Strong understanding of PHP, WordPress hooks, and the WooCommerce REST API.
- Frontend Stack: Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for collaborative development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with middleware tools or Zapier for automating e-commerce workflows.
- Knowledge of Shopify Plus and headless commerce (Hydrogen).
