Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Coordinator
Location: JAFZA, UAE
About the Role
Our Group Company – Plastic Division is seeking a proactive and organized Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping documentation, coordinate local and international shipments, and ensure smooth logistics operations. The successful candidate will work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, transport providers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate local and international shipments.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, certificates of origin, and import/export documentation.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport companies, and customs clearance agents.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal departments and customers.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
- Maintain shipping records and logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and company procedures.
- Resolve shipping and logistics issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor transportation costs and recommend cost-effective logistics solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or plastic production environment.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, and customs clearance.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping agents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
