Sheet Metal Fitter
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and measurements. Fabricate, cut, bend, and install sheet metal components. Install and assemble ductwork, panels, supports, cladding, and other sheet metal structures. Use hand tools, power tools, cutting machines, and bending equipment safely. Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting or fabrication. Perform fitting, alignment, riveting, bolting, and fastening work. Check finished work for proper dimensions, alignment, and quality. Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements. Coordinate with welders, fabricators, supervisors, and other trades. Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Fitter/Fabricator. Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques. Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
Oil & Gas / Construction / HVAC experience is an advantage. Ability to work at heights and in demanding site conditions when required. Valid safety training/certificates are an advantage. Preferred Experience: 2–5 years in sheet metal fabrication/fitting, preferably in Qatar or Oil & Gas projects.
