Position: SERVICE MANAGER
OVERVIEW OF

THE ROLE

This position manages and directs the service activities of the company in Saudi Arabia by developing and implementing new service programs, increasing new business and maintaining existing customer base.

Functions under this role include:

  • Technical and Warranty
  • Body & Paint Operations
  • Service Operations (manpower, job cards, etc.)
  • Field Operations (tools, equipment, standards, etc.)
  • Customer Service

In the above 5 areas there is a lot to improve and enhance; this position will focus on two key areas:

  • Strategic and visualize Service business opportunities, development, enhancement
  • Operational who goes into details (when needed) to fix and repair processes or issues

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic servicing plans to accommodate the company’s service goals and objectives.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and call on customers in an effort to develop new business.
  • Work with General Manager in planning service ideas and promotions.
  • Establish objectives by directing service forecasting activities and setting performance goals to increase the company’s business.
  • Analyze statistics and prepare periodic reports showing servicing activities, volume, potential and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitor costs, supply and demand, and analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Keep current with changing trends, economic indicators, and the competition.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and deliver service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 45-55 years old
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • GCC experience required
  • Preferably based in Saudi now
  • Open to all nationalities – European, Asia Pacific, North African & Arabic nationals very welcome
  • At least 10 years experience
  • Should have at least 3 years in current role in a senior service position
  • Strong experience in the automobile industry required

  • Base salary: 20 – 30k SAR per month.
  • In addition: housing allowance + transport allowance + flight allocation to the home country for family.
