Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and
innovative
Senior Word Press Developer to design and develop high-quality websites and plugins. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Word Press platform, including theme development, customization, and plugin integrations. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and
attention to detail
to deliver user-friendly and responsive websites.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development:
Design, develop, and maintain custom Word Press themes and plugins. Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client or project requirements. Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Content Management:
Manage and update website content using Word Press CMS. Ensure content is SEO-friendly and adheres to best practices.
Integration and Troubleshooting:
Integrate third-party APIs and tools into Word Press websites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Word Press functionality, performance, or security.
Optimization
and Maintenance:
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO. Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and backups. Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to non-technical team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Word Press development or similar roles.
Technical
Skills:
Core Expertise:
Proficiency in Word Press CMS, including theme and plugin development.
Frameworks:
Familiarity with Word Press frameworks like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
Tools:
Experience with
version control
systems like Git and website
optimization
tools.
SEO:
Basic understanding of SEO principles and their implementation in Word Press.
Databases:
Knowledge of MySQL database management.
Others:
Familiarity with REST APIs, Woo Commerce, and other Word Press extensions.
Soft Skills:
Strong
problem-solving
and
debugging
skills. Excellent
communication
and
collaboration
abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
Word Press Multisite and custom post types.
Familiarity with website hosting and server environments.
