Our client, a leading engineering and construction group in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President – Engineering to lead its MEP business focused on district cooling & data center projects. This is a strategic executive leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance, business growth, and the successful delivery of major projects across the UAE and wider GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the Engineering/MEP division.
- Lead the delivery of multiple high value MEP projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Take full ownership of P&L, revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while supporting expansion into new sectors and geographical markets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior management teams, ensuring succession planning and a high performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across engineering operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 15 years' experience within the MEP contracting sector.
- At least 10 years in a senior executive leadership role within the UAE or GCC.
- Proven experience delivering multiple prestigious mega projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial and financial management experience, including full P&L responsibility.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC construction practices, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
