Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Treasury Officer for a full-time, on-site position in Qatar. The role involves managing cash flow planning, liquidity, and financial risk, ensuring the organization meets its financial commitments. Responsibilities include monitoring treasury operations, coordinating with banks, optimizing working capital, and managing investments and foreign exchange. The Senior Treasury Officer will also oversee compliance with financial regulations and policies while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the company’s financial strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Treasury Management, including cash flow forecasting, managing bank accounts, and optimizing liquidity
- Knowledge of Financial Risk Management and Foreign Exchange strategies
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Reporting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for coordinating with banks and internal stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools
- Proven teamwork and leadership abilities to guide and support team activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; a professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CTP is a plus
- At least 5-7 years of experience in Treasury or Corporate Finance roles, preferably in international companies
- Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards related to treasury functions
- Experience working in the construction or energy industry is advantageous
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounts/Finance
- 5+ years of experience (3+ in treasury/trade finance; GCC a plus)
- SAP & Excel proficiency
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
