Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, ensuring they run safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting various automotive issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manual testing.
Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical system repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements.
Replace or repair faulty parts, such as belts, hoses, filters, and spark plugs.
Ensure all repairs and services meet safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer requests.
Stay updated with new automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Keep the workshop clean and follow all safety regulations.
Communicate with service advisors and customers about repair recommendations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
ASE certification or equivalent training is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in different postures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with electric and hybrid vehicles.
Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and diagnostic systems.
Previous experience in a dealership or service center.
