Senior Traffic Signals Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Compass Global Resourcing (CGR)
My client is a leading UK based engineering consultancy who have recently been awarded a 5 year contract to provide highway asset management for Doha, Qatar. As part of that programme they are looking to recruit a Senior Traffic Signals Engineer to carry out the following:
Carry out modelling of traffic signal junctions.
Ensure traffic signals are maintained to a high standard.
Explore current working practises and make recommendations to improve the service provided.
Attend design meetings to provide traffic signal expertise.
Implement the project requirements to fully meet the clients specifications and relevant standards.
Carry out site visits, surveys, inspections and supervise sub contractors.
Prepare and check feasibility studies, inspection, assessment and technical reports and other written documents.
Comply with regulations such as health and safety and environmental.
Prepare/check design approach, calculations, drawings and documents.
Candidates should have a degree in electrical or electronic engineering and must have a proven background in traffic signal design and traffic signal maintenance. Candidates should have project management experience and have experience of dealing with clients, developers, consultants and the public.
