Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist
EDGE Commercial
Join EDGE Commercial’s Bidding & Proposals team and play a key role in identifying and sourcing cutting-edge defence technologies for strategic projects. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in areas such as Radars, UAVs, Electro-Optics, RF Systems, and Weapons, you will work closely with bid, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to secure compliant and competitive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer RFP technical requirements and identify suitable products and suppliers.
- Develop sourcing strategies and conduct supplier evaluations and technical bid analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing solutions with project requirements.
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, conduct benchmarking, and attend industry exhibitions to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience, preferably within the Aerospace & Defence industry.
- Strong understanding of bid management processes and technical sourcing.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
