Senior Specialist – ERM & BCM Jobs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at Saudia Cargo
The Senior Specialist – Enterprise Risk Management and BCM responsibility is to proactively safeguard the organization by identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting risks that could impede the achievement of the company’s objectives, facilitate establishing a robust risk management framework that is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Job Accountabilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify current and emerging risks across all areas of the organization.
- Implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management policies and procedures. Assist in defining the company’s risk appetite, key risk indicators (KRIs), and risk tolerance thresholds.
- Facilitate risk workshops and interviews with business units to gather risk data and understand mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Monitor the effectiveness of risk control measures and recommend improvements as necessary. Work closely with various departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance) to integrate risk management practices into their processes.
- Maintain the risk register and ensure timely updates and accurate risk ratings.
- Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the risk management framework and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Update detailed records of all business continuity activities, tests, and modifications to plans.
- Support conducting enterprise-level Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical functions, recovery priorities, and resource dependencies.
- Schedule, and evaluate periodic BCM drills, tabletop exercises, and scenario testing to validate readiness and improve resilience.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or equivalent. Certifications in Risk Management, Professional Risk Manager (PRM) or Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
- A minimum of 4 – 6 years of experience in the same or similar field.
