JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for driving online sales growth through the development and execution of effective ecommerce strategies. This role focuses on optimizing the online shopping experience, managing ecommerce platforms, and implementing sales initiatives to increase revenue and customer engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ecommerce Strategy Development

Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to drive online sales growth. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

Platform Management

Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s ecommerce platforms. Ensure the website is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO).

Sales Initiatives

Plan and execute online sales campaigns, promotions, and special offers. Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Customer Experience Optimization

Enhance the online shopping experience to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Implement and manage a customer feedback system to gather insights and make data-driven improvements.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Analyze sales data and ecommerce metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns. Prepare regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.

Inventory and Fulfillment

Work with the cruise operations and inventory teams to ensure accurate availability and pricing of cabins and services. Optimize booking processes to ensure timely and accurate confirmation of reservations.

TASKS:

Set and track sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for ecommerce operations.

Coordinate with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues and implement new features.

Monitor website analytics and performance to identify and address issues affecting sales.

Coordinate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotional materials.

Utilize email marketing, social media, and other digital channels to drive traffic and sales.

Ensure seamless integration of ecommerce with other customer touchpoints, including mobile apps and in-store experiences.

Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.

Monitor and manage returns and exchanges to minimize losses and enhance customer satisfaction.

Implement inventory management systems to track and forecast demand.

Use data insights to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Monitor and manage cancellations and changes to minimize losses and enhance customer satisfaction.
