Looking for well-experienced Laundry & Dry-Cleaning Attendant.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Laundry Attendant located in Doha, Qatar. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring all laundry is correctly sorted, washed, dried, and folded.
They will also need to perform regular equipment maintenance, assist with inventory control, and communicate effectively with other departments and guests to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Prior experience in laundry services – Manual Pressing, Steam Pressing, Ironing in Steam table, Washing delicate dresses & Operating Dry-cleaning machine.
Previous experience in Retail or Commercial Laundry is preferred, handling guest laundry with all-rounder exposure in all areas.
Candidates who are self-starters and can perform the duties with minimum supervision.
Attention to detail to ensure all laundry is properly sorted and cleaned.
Ability to operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy laundry bags.
Candidates with knowledge of cleaning chemicals and experience in dry cleaning are preferred.
Candidates with experience in handling delicate fabrics such as silk and lace are preferred.
Candidates having decent communication abilities in multiple languages who can read and write English.
Candidates having only hotel linens experience need not contact.
Experience cleaning curtains, leather jackets & bags, shoes, etc. will be given priority.
Candidates from Nepal, Ghana, Sri Lanka, and India are preferred in case of overseas recruitment.
