Embark on a journey with the world’s largest international airline and become a vital part of our cutting-edge IT team as a Senior Software Engineer – Oracle ERP.The Senior Software Engineer – Oracle ERP is a key member of an agile team, working independently on software development and
problem resolution
. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions supporting the Emirates Group Business.
Your Main Responsibilities Will BeCollaborate with senior technical engineers on technical design by analyzing application requirements.
Translate technical solutions for small to medium initiatives into detailed design and code.
Write secure, optimized code following Emirates Group standards.
Participate in rotational on-call support to resolve production issues within SLAs with minimal supervision.
Ensure quality through comprehensive unit testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Identify and fix defects efficiently.
Practice code refactoring to minimize technical debt.
Implement logging and monitoring in the development process.
Stay updated with relevant technologies and apply learnings to improve code quality.
Adhere to Emirates Group IT coding standards and contribute to engineering standards documentation.
Qualifications & Experience To qualify, you should have:
At least 3 years of experience with Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) implementation, upgrade, and support.
Experience with
Oracle Application Framework (OAF).Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle workflows, and XML Publisher.
Experience with
Oracle Access Manager and Java/JavaScript.
Knowledge of exposing RESTful APIs via SOA gateway.
Strong functional experience in at least one EBS module: HCM, Financials, or SCM.Knowledge of
Agile development
methodologies.
