Senior Sales Executive Jobs in Dubai at Greentech Shipping and Logistics LLC
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our Shipping & Logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, import/export, and UAE market sales, with a proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, identifying potential clients, preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE shipping and logistics market.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, market research, and direct client visits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Promote the company’s freight forwarding, shipping, transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and logistics services.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations and commercial proposals to clients.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with customers while maintaining company profitability.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand customer requirements and identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, Accounts, and other internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Follow up on quotations, leads, and potential business opportunities until closure.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and customer requirements.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports to management.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues professionally and coordinate with the relevant departments for resolution.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional logistics and shipping services.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding customer payments in coordination with the Accounts Department.
- Maintain accurate records of customers, leads, quotations, sales activities, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5+ years of proven sales experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE logistics and freight forwarding market.
- Existing client relationships and a strong network within the UAE shipping/logistics industry will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and sales opportunities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
