Job Type: Full-time on site, Night Shift (aligned with Los Angeles working hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-level RFP/RFI Proposal Writer with demonstrated success in government and federal contracting. Our parent company is a growing provider of professional security services across commercial, construction, residential, and government sectors. Our expansion into government and federal contracting requires experienced professionals who can deliver high-quality, compliant proposals that win business. This role requires someone who can independently lead the proposal process, produce competitive submissions, and contribute to improving overall win rates. This is a senior-level position intended for candidates with strong experience and proven capability.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the full proposal lifecycle from solicitation review to final submission
- Interpret complex RFP/RFI requirements and ensure full compliance
- Develop clear, structured, and persuasive proposal content
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and refine technical and operational information
- Manage multiple concurrent proposals under strict deadlines
- Strengthen proposal quality, organization, and competitiveness
- Maintain and enhance templates, content libraries, and internal processes
- Monitor submission outcomes and implement improvements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of direct RFP/RFI proposal writing experience
- Proven experience with government and/or federal contract proposals
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complete proposal submissions
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Advanced writing, editing, and formatting skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government contracting or regulated industries
- Familiarity with proposal management tools or bid platforms
