Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our client in Sharjah, specializing in marble works and fit-out construction. The ideal candidate will be an Arabic speaker with strong commercial acumen and proven experience managing costs, contracts, and procurement within marble or high-end interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for marble and fit-out projects.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from tendering to final account settlement.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate cost planning.
- Handle subcontractor evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and progress to ensure alignment with budget.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and financial reports.
- Evaluate and process change orders and claims.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company standards.
- Provide commercial advice and risk management throughout the project.
