Senior Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Imperium Consulting
Our client are one of the leading global Infrastructure Main Contractors that have over the 50 years delivered large scale projects within the Roads – Highways and Bridges sector. They have a network off offices across the globe and their Doha/Qatar has been in operation for over 5 years, during which time they have become a leading firm in the region.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be the lead on a multi million dollar Road – Highways projects, you will be managing the relationship with the client, consultant and managing a team of Construction Managers.
Based on site you will be working with the Project Manager in delivering the project within time, budget and specification.
You will also be working very closely with the estimating and cost control teams.
You will be responsible for managing the relationship with the client, consultant and framework partners.
Managing the Quantity Surveying aspects of the project will be the largest area/scope of works. This will include addressing valuation, variation issues, cost control, letter/data management with the client and consultant.
Looking at Claims and Variations, as well as Risk Management issues.
To be considered for this role you must be/have:
A degree in Engineering
At least 15 years experience in the Infrastructure – Roads – Highways or Bridges sector
GCC experience
Working for a main contractor and experienced with managing the project on site with a team of construction managers.
