Key Responsibilities
- Support and implement EHS standards and initiatives in line with Group requirements.
- Lead commercial and price negotiations for raw materials, packaging materials, services, and contracts.
- Manage procurement activities to achieve cost savings and favorable Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
- Develop and qualify alternative suppliers to reduce risk and avoid single-source dependency.
- Ensure effective material planning and inventory control to maintain service levels within approved budgets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, from requisition to supplier confirmation and delivery follow-up.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate supplier complaint investigations and communicate findings with technical and product management teams.
- Review and validate contracts and agreements to ensure commercial and legal compliance.
- Prepare procurement reports, savings analyses, price variance reports, and procurement heat maps.
- Resolve supply disruptions and delivery challenges in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor development, inventory management, and material planning.
- Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results.
- Experience in supplier performance management and logistics tracking systems will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
