Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha for a
Senior PTW Instructor
.
Develop training packages for the Permit to Work (PTW) system, Energy Isolation, and ePTW, and improve training modules based on evolving business needs. Support effective capture and dissemination of lessons learned within Qatar Energy LNG operating facilities.
Prepare training modules and update existing course content to reflect procedures for Permit to Work and Energy Isolations, ensuring timely communication of changes.
Respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment, often under significant time constraints.
Address challenges of working in a complex, multicultural, multi-national, multi-venture environment and ensure consistent application of PTW processes across all assets.
Develop and review PTW-related training materials, incorporating lessons learned, and support PTW trainers to enhance training quality.
Organize communication sessions on procedural changes and ensure effective dissemination to end users.
Contribute to PTW system improvements and review tasks assigned by line management.
Ensure ePTW system access is granted to trained and competent personnel.
Provide consultation support to end users on PTW procedures during routine operations and shutdowns.
Organize regular meetings with asset PTW coordinators, training, and competency teams.
Support and participate in PTW audit activities and cascade lessons learned to system users through communication sessions.
Profile
Qualifications:
Engineering
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations, Maintenance, or SHE within the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 2 years in PTW system management and as an instructor.
Expertise in SHE procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis, and international PTW standards and best practices.
