We are seeking an experienced Senior Projects HSE Risks & SIMOPS Engineer to support major offshore brownfield projects in Qatar.
This position plays a key role in leading HSE risk management, SIMOPS coordination, and ensuring safe project execution throughout engineering, installation, and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE and project risk management activities throughout project execution.
- Prepare, coordinate, and implement SIMOPS dossiers.
- Support project teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Review contractor HSE documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Maintain project risk registers and monitor mitigation actions.
- Coordinate with operations, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe offshore execution.
- Promote a strong HSE culture across project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of HSEQ and Risk Management experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong experience with:
- SIMOPS Planning & Coordination
- HSE Management Systems
- Project Risk Management
- Offshore Brownfield Projects
- HSE Audits & Inspections
- Construction & Installation Activities
- Knowledge of international HSEQ standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
