Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) Pipeline UAE
Schultes & Partner GmbH, headquartered in Vienna with an office in Romania, is a service provider formed in 2007 from the merger of an engineering firm covering all disciplines with top technical experts and a consulting firm.
Responsibilities
- Leading and delivering FEED and detailed engineering projects for long‑distance onshore pipeline systems from concept through handover
- Managing overall project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and performance, ensuring that all key objectives are met efficiently
- Utilizing strong technical expertise in pipeline engineering, including knowledge of international standards such as ASME, API, and ISO, and experience with hydraulic simulations, stress analysis and route selection
- Coordinating and integrating multiple technical disciplines, ensuring smooth collaboration across engineering teams
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, clearly communicating project progress, risks, and technical decisions
- Ensuring effective risk management, quality assurance, and HSE compliance throughout all project phases
- Maintaining the commercial performance of the project, including cost control, contract compliance, and evaluation of invoices, variations, and claims
- Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary and potentially geographically distributed teams while fostering a high‑performance and collaborative work environment
- Supporting procurement activities, including preparation of technical packages, tender processes, and subcontractor management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Pipeline, Civil, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. PMP certification preferred
- 15‑20 years of experience in oil & gas engineering, with at least 10 years specifically in pipeline FEED or detailed engineering
- Proven track record delivering cross‑country pipelines (100 km–1,000+ km) including stations and associated facilities
- Experience in both client/owner and PMC/EPCM environments
- Strong command of ASME, API, ISO pipeline codes
- High understanding of terrain challenges and crossing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of pipeline integrity, route engineering, geohazards, and construction methods
- Fluency in written and verbal English (mandatory)

- Salary based on experience and qualifications, with a collective agreement over payment: €100,000 gross per year
