Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and according to defined quality standards. This role provides strategic leadership across cross-functional teams, manages stakeholders and project risks, and ensures successful achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across multiple departments.
- Establish project objectives, deliverables, KPIs, and success criteria.
- Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, scope, and quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage project changes and ensure appropriate approval and documentation.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear ownership of actions and deliverables.
- Ensure projects comply with organizational policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
- Lead post-project reviews and implement lessons learned and continuous improvements.
- Mentor and support project managers and junior team members.
