Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies, category plans, and sourcing
roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee all procurement and contracting activities, ensuring adherence to approved policies,
procedures, and Delegation of Authority.
- Review and approve complex requisitions, tender strategies, commercial evaluations, negotiation outcomes, and award recommendations.
- Drive the closure of internal and external audit observations, ensuring sustainable corrective actions and strengthened controls.
- Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on procurement best practices, risk mitigation,
commercial structuring, and compliance requirements.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers and contractors to secure optimal commercial and contractual outcomes.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Technical, and other functions to ensure alignment on contractual, financial, and operational requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement governance, efficiency, digitalization, and process maturity.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement team to build organizational capability and ensure high performance.
- Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and commercial risks to support strategic
decision-making.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
Master Degree is preferrable
Competencies:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced analytical, negotiation, and advisory capabilities
- High attention to detail with a strong compliance and risk-management mindset
- Ability to drive transformation and manage cross-functional initiatives
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, contracts, or commercial roles, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
