Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with strong expertise in high-speed rail infrastructure, railway construction, bridge and tunnel projects, and precast concrete systems. The candidate will be responsible for executing large-scale EPC infrastructure projects, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement for railway and infrastructure EPC projects.
Source and procure materials required for high-speed rail, railway construction, bridges, and tunnel projects.
Handle procurement of precast concrete panels, structural components, and construction materials.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Conduct vendor negotiations, contract management, and commercial evaluations.
Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tendering processes, and purchase orders.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per project schedules.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and site teams to understand procurement requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
8–15 years of experience in railways, infrastructure, or large EPC projects.
Experience working on metro, rail, or transportation infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Strong experience in procurement for large EPC infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of railway infrastructure, bridges, and tunnel construction materials.
Experience in sourcing precast concrete panels and structural components.
Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
Familiarity with tendering processes and procurement documentation.
