Senior Printing Estimator Jobs in Doha at GREEN PRINT
Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Printing Estimator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of printing projects, supporting production planning, and ensuring efficient project execution within budget and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial printing, packaging, labels, brochures, and specialty printing projects.
- Calculate material, labor, machine, finishing, and outsourced production costs.
- Review project specifications and determine the most cost-effective production methods.
- Plan and schedule production jobs according to delivery timelines and resource availability.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor job progress and update production schedules as required.
- Maintain accurate costing records, production plans, and job documentation.
- Analyze estimated versus actual costs and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Communicate with suppliers and external vendors to obtain quotations and manage outsourced services.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Printing Technology, Production Management, Graphic Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in printing estimation and production planning, preferably in a commercial printing or packaging environment.
- Strong knowledge of offset, digital, packaging, and label printing processes.
- Good understanding of printing materials, finishing techniques, and production workflows.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and printing estimation/planning software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP/MIS systems used in the printing industry.
- Knowledge of cost control and production optimization techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay: QAR7,216.30 – QAR12,081.30 per month
