Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and establish timelines.
Analyze project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on project status, progress, and forecasts forsenior managementand stakeholders.
Implement best practices in planning and scheduling, ensuring compliance with NEOM’s standards and policies.
Lead planning meetings and workshops, facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts among project team members.
Utilize advanced planning tools and software to enhance project visibility and control.
Mentor and guide junior planning engineers, fostering acollaborativeand high-performancework environment.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in planning methodologies to continuously improve project delivery.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies related to project scheduling.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources and materials.
Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and project charters to clearly define project scope and deliverables.
Review and validate contractors’ and consultants’ schedules to ensure they align with project requirements and timelines.
Assist in the preparation of project budget estimates and track project expenditures against budget.
Perform “what-if” analysis to evaluate the impact of potential changes or delays on project timelines.
Collaborate withquality assuranceteams to ensure that project milestones meet quality standards.
Participate in client meetings and provide planning insights and updates as needed.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
Supportchange managementprocesses by assessing the impact of scope changes on project schedules and budgets.
Analyze historical project data to inform future planning and decision-making processes.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and stronganalytical skills.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively withdiverseteams and stakeholders.
Strongproblem-solving skillsand the ability to makedata-driven decisions.
Knowledge ofproject managementmethodologies and best practices.
Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is a plus.
